As a teenager I attended blacksmithing classes at Peat Oberon School of Blacksmithing, Preston Hall Museum near Stockton-on-Tees. I subsequently completed a blacksmithing course at The National School of Blacksmithing (NSB) at the Herefordshire and Ludlow College.  In 2016 I established my blacksmith business based in the Llyn Peninsula, North Wales. I have applied my blacksmithing skills to commissions ranging from bespoke field gates to metalworks for restoration projects. I also produce small items ranging from keyrings, clothing hooks and fireplace implements for the sale through my Etsy account and local craft shops.
